how can someone who is not used to going out and being in social type of situations be more confident in such situations?

how can i be comfortable outside the house i am usually nervous can’t wait to get home
please can someone tell me step by step..

just start going out more and more, go out with friends, say hi to people stuff like that. maybe when youre really confident, start little convosations with people

I know how you feel, its normal. There are no guidelines or set of rules on how to be better in social situations. What I did was I just forced myself to get out their and start talking to people, understanding that I might make some mistakes and might not be the smoothest person out there (yet ;)), but I learned to be confident in myself and to portray that. Also what helped me was volunteering in my community and participating in group projects because I got to meet a lot of people, hope this helps.
