download help: My 360Share Pro wont connect, I cant download anything. - Help.com

my name is mattie cook i paid for a lifetime membership with 360 share now that i change internet service i cannot connect. please help

dude i have been having the same trouble i have had for about a year or so. And first it wouldn’t even open so i wrote tech support and they helped with that. But now it will open and not connect says connecting but wont. this sucks so if you find out anything let me know too. Ty if i find out anything i will let you know.

I paid twice for 360 share pro. The second time I was suppose to be a life time member and now I can’t even get it to start up on the same computer. My email address was (email removed). Nonetheless, I have the same PC address. I am hearing bad things that I don’t want to believe. Help!

Same with mine, I purchased it the first of the year and my will not work and I am having the same problems as all of you, I paid for the lifetime plan as well…

I also paid for a life time membership and within the past week or so, I realized that, I could no longer connect to the system. I have tried everything the support staff has emailed me and all has failed. They went so far as to tell me that my account has expired.
Are there any other sites to go on for FREE?

I have a 360 membership for the past 2mts or so it will not connect at all and before that it would take forever not it wont even connect please help i paid to use the service and i am not able to

Had 360Pro for 16 months after paying a liftime membership. I have had no problems downloaded loads of music and films. Today tried to connect and it sits there looking at me then closes down. I have read all the bumf on how to sort this out but no luck, have read the comments from unhappy users(figrativley). whats happening to this site?

I have not use this service for a while and now I tryed and do not work. I pay for unlimited access and I’m not getting what I pay for either fix the problem or I want my money back. I’m not willing to pay again for a service that is been paid for besides that is fraud.

I am getting “tic” (small pauses) when I play songs.

I have had this problem before, I believe it is a java update that causes it to “not connect” I have recently re-imaged my computer, I just cant remember which jave update not to install or un-install.

Just go onto 360 Share site and log on to members log-in. You will be able to download it again for free once you’ve logged in as a member.

This has happend to me twice now but not sure why. Once I download it again it works fine. I think it may just be when they update the version maybe?? (I don’t know a lot about computers!)

Anyway I hope this advice helps you guys out.

My 360 share pro didn’t work. I messed around with it for awhile and got it to work with my vista firewall settings set to except 360 share pro along with the default programs. Then I turned off the bit torrent management by clicking the the check box after going under tools and options on the 360 program. It was almost too easy. I applied the settings then hit ok. My connection, then, started right up. Let me know if this works cause I did more things for the program too but I believe this is what fixed the problem.

Um…am I the only one that didn’t have to pay for 360 share…lol and I’m apparently the only one it works for. haha

This is a stupid software, I just subscribed .. cannot connect !!! it’s much better to use the free torrent websites while using a good unti-virus software!!

i was having the same problems with most of you but i found a post from someone with advise that worked.. it also has something to do with your java updates.
when i installed the new java updates it stopped working, stopped connecting and just stopped altogether. so i uninstalled my newest updates and it started working again.

After many days of trying the recommended methods of getting it to connect I finally found a solution. Have just one version of Java installed (the latest works OK) ensure that it is actually working / enabled, (go to IE8 tools, internet options, scroll through the advanced settings till you find java and enable it for applets if it’s not already enabled). re-check by going to tools, manage add-ons, highlight toolbars and extensions option and scroll down to Sun Java and check it’s enabled. 360pro is built on the back of limewire. To connect to limewire the gnuttella.net file is required to be present on your PC. This means it has to be present for 360share too. Download limewire basic (free) this will ensure you have the gnutella.net script file present to allow 360share to connect. Of course you can now use limewire for your downloads or 360share but if you subsequently delete limewire keep the gnuttella.net file!

I uninstall java 6 upgrade 19 and it started working again

After reading Rober.schenc’s post i saw my computer had not ever run updates.. it updated everything and then started working.. then it did more updates and again didnt work.. so (internet explorer 8 ) i went into tools > internet options > security >custom level > right at the bottom its all the scripting radiobuttons i disabled everything under script and restarted it and it worked so its DEFINTIELY A JAVA CONFLICT.. THANX ROBERT i thought i was scammed like everyone else

you cant open a lawsuit or fraud because this program does let you download SOME illegal music. So it would really back fire on you really.

Purchased lifetime in 2005 and had various connection problems and/or executable problems since and have resolved them all either/both by:

Disbale any Java programs after Java “J2SE v5.0 update 10 & nothing past it in “control panel” - “programs and features”, AND allow program to run in ur antivirus/internet security software. (Sometimes had to pause protection) Sometimes running an internet port 80 web broswer will cause problems too…In one case, I had to keep the 360sharepro program maximized because if minimized the priority would time-out the connection and downloads would either slow or freeze.

Chances are that if your 360proshare is working then something else will no longer work do to the downgrade in Java support. 360share has decided not to continue support and no longer makes updates to its products.
