the best thing to do is to pactice i found i works well the harder you pactice the better you will become… enough perfect pactice will make you grate

i’ve been practing everyday…I write and play everyday, and i listen to lots of music of course…but do think there’s something missing?

Go to the library, there are books there about music. Also, find a way to hang out with local musicians/meet local musicians. It doesn’t hurt to also try transcribing music that you like, if you would like to work in that specific genre.

PS…transcribing is listening to the music, and writing it down.

Record yourself when you practice and listen back when you are done. This is a great way to find flaws and begin polishing them. Another good thing is to learn your modes, scales, timing, and chords. The more knowledge of music you have, the easier it will be to create.

I’m a bass player being playing bass and guitar for the past 30 years and i’m looking for a band who is already out there doing their thing and they need a serious bass player my specialty is funk but i can play anything, by the way i’m 42 years old if there is some real serious people out there with a band just get in touch with me, another thing i have alot of equipment i can tell you about when we speak,but just let me tell you this i have a mini recording studio in my living-room with everything needed to record and burn cd’s, so if your interested holar for the funk player.
