I’ll remember a period of turmoil…failure, disappointment, suffering, anguish…both in world events and my own personal life.

But towards the end of this decade I’ve also felt hope and realised that I have the power to change things and to make them better.

The first thing i’ll think of is how old i was, and fun things, but i thought 2000’s went pretty fast erm i cant remember anything big that happened

The last decade does seem to have flown by…. i remember the hype surrounding the start of the new century…The last decade hasn’t been a good one for me so maybe that is why is seems to have gone so fast… a bit like do you pull the plaster off quick and get it over with or slowly to try and limit the pain…. think i prefer the quick painful way.

I obviously remember 9/11 and how excited I was when the new millenium started. The wars on terror , iraq afghanistan, bush etc. The internet taking over everything :)

So many things to remember! Off the top of my head: 9/11 Iraq, Afghanistan, China emerging as a superpower, Swine flu, Facebook, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson’s death, Paris Hilton hahaha, Katrina, tsunami, Harry Potter, stupid reality shows everywhere, Wikipedia, Internet all over, Cell phones, I-Pod…
