How do i fit in?

I would like any form of assistance or help as to information on how i can fit into my society. I am Nigerian, schooled to University level with a B.Sc in Accounting. Came into Europe 2002, precisely Switzerland and i have been unable to find a job to keep me going. I do have a residence permit but its so difficult that i am lost on ideas on how to really fit in. Can anyone help?
