How do I install itunes?

I had been using itunes foir music access for several months. When it did not come up I attempted to re-install, at which point I get a window saying (Error 1303).  I attemtped to remove my previous itunes before re-installation but itunes still will not re-install. Can anyone help me?

check out the CNET Forums. I found the following discussions regarding itunes errors, but not the 1303 error that you referenced specfically. these folks may be able to help

Thank you Erik and Angryman. I found a solution which you probably would have sent me later on. Iused the CLEANUP UTILITY which removed ALL of the bits and pieces of previous Itune and Quicktime installations. Then I was able to INSTALL a fresh 6.2 version of Itunes which works great.

Those well meaning members who suggest going to our PC “Search” facility and deleting all the parts of Itunes must know that SOME of them JUST WON’T delete. Unless you are a qualified Registry student it is hard to find all the bits and pieces but the CLEANUP UTILITY does that.
It is another FREE GIFT FROM BILL GATES ! Ron
