What happens to someone who got sick, lost their job, had surgery, had their home foreclosed, and has no family.
She spent her money trying to survive while she was sick…she didn’t have the proper health or unemployment or short term disability insurances and lost it all. Now she lives in her truck. They are threatening to take the truck as she is now two payments behind…and the cell bill is due in a couple of days. She doesn’t have a family or circle of friends, no support. What happens to her now? She checked about various charities and public assistance, but because she does not have children at home…she doesn’t qualify for any help from the government and most of the public or church charities we checked about either are broke themselves, their money is going for big disaster relief or to people recommended by their church or organization. Any ideas? Is there anyone out there in the world that can help? Is there anyone who would bother? Is anyone disposable? Are there people in the world who are simply not worth fighting for or caring about? Why is this alright to not care what happens to this person? At least that is the way it appears! I bet if something happened to her and no one ever saw her again…no one would even notice. Open to suggestions, ideas, charity, hope…prayers…she has a vocation, but with no home, no address…no food, no bath, no income…and she has chronic health issues. This person needs help to get back on her feet…just help…
