I happened to find this site and had to answer the question on is Elvis alive ir dead. I was a friend of Elvis’ and I can tell you truthfully that he indeed did indead pass away on July 16th 1977 as the world was told. He would never hide from his fans as he loved them too much. He had many illnesses and he didn’t die to being overweight etc. One of his medical conditions caused him to retain fluid buildup that caused him to be very puffy at times. He would look different day to day as the swelling would go up or down. He didn’t hoard food as so many want to believe as a joke, he ate no more than the average man. He had many health issues and certainly the drug problem added to it. Too many Doctors dispensing too many meds that should NEVER have been given him. He had a very rough life and had a severe sleeping problem which was the need for meds to begin with. It’s a rather long story and I don’t have time to get into it all so let me again say without doubt that my good friend Elvis Presley did die and is not hiding out some where. He loved his fans and especially his family too much to do such a thing. If he had been hiding he would have came out when Lisa married Michael Jackson!!! He would not have stood for that.
