Reconnect with the joy inside of you - Help.com

Reconnect with the joy inside of you

and watch everything change for the best!
Yep… Or maybe I should put it this way: “Seek first the kingdom of Heaven…”
I believe I read that somewhere…

Everything we think is missing to our happiness finds its way to us when we first reconnect with that spark of joy that is already within each and every one of us. And the great thing is… it’s free!

I keep forgetting that myself so I write this post as a reminder. It is the most precious thing my mother left me as an inheritance. She didn’t preach it, just lived it!
Sometimes, when things aren’t going so smoothly, her memory comes back to me.
And I know that all I need to do is to be happy… and watch everything in my little world transform itself from gray and cloudy to sunny and bright.

You may comment if you want to.
I just know this to be true
And thought I’d share it with you…

:)

I admire people who joyful. I love to be around them and let their joyfulness surround me and pull me in.

Joy is a hard emotion for me feel, maybe due to my depression. It is hard for me to get to that heighten level of happiness. But I savor those little moments of joy that I do feel.

It is usually something so small and brings it forth for me. Like a glance at my child. Seeing his red hair in a mess of curls. His face with just that little touch of baby essence still there. His eyes light up with innocence. That is a joyful moment for me.

Joy
The joy that I share returns to me multiplied.

Our friends and family make up a social network in which we share greetings of love, enjoyable activities and quiet moments together. Our joy reflects Spirit within us and is something we can give to one another, whether we are in the same room or miles apart.

Happy times we’ve shared with others, whether around the breakfast table or in conversation over the phone or even through e-mail, we can pass along to others throughout our day.

Feelings of gladness ripple out far beyond our immediate circle of acquaintances. As we release the joy of our souls into the universe, it returns to us multiplied.

Thanks Kalos! Didn’t remember exactly how it went as my first language is French…

Babacup, keep those happy feelings and thoughts in mind. They will naturally take you one step further into more light, happiness, creativity, inspiration. It’s a simple road to follow and certainly beats sitting in the dark, letting it consume us. It’s nonetheless, a choice. And as humans, we all have the free will to choose what we will…

Thanks for your input, my friend. :)

Hiee! I never knew what true Joy was until a couple of years ago. For me It started really happening when i learned to be childlike. Most of my life has been spent with children, taking care of them as well as my own so i had perfect examples.Children ask lots of questions so we should be more curious, they have faith, believing anything is possible,so we should think more positively. combine that with excitement and there you have it-Joy.But i do have to add that i dont think its possible unless you have the teachings of Jesus…..thanks 4 the invite {HUG} and Joy to you all

You made me smile what you wrote I understand very well. I worked with children many years and they also taught me to be happy and way more real to myself. So many adults walk around with that turned off in them and it is really a joy to have it once in awhile still even though I am a grown up. I always felt closest to Jesus with kids, really amazing to be around them a share there lives.. You must be a wonderful person.
Love Agape

Thank you so much for that post, Marylou! You’ve got no idea how refreshing it is to hear someone say something happy and positive. It is difficult to remain positive when times look bleak, but even a slight bit of optimism makes a hell of a difference.

Thanks again, Marylou. I’m happy that you’re happy :)

You are kind and wonderful person Babacup, you deserve nothing but happiness.

As for me, I don’t know. I am not that good with emotions, feelings. I am not sure of anything. In fact, I just live each day - sans drama or anything else. I don’t expect, I don’t dwell. I may retaliate, I may get hurt but it ends there. I don’t want to linger on the pain and hurt. I don’t want to think anymore nor do anymore. I could only me.

They say I am a mean person, maybe I am. But maybe I am not either. I don’t know anymore. All I know is that I want to be happy, somehow.

:) You’re sweet, Okei… :)

Forget about what others think. It’s not important at all. It isn’t!
Is there something you like to do that really makes you feel good? Think hard… and get back to me.

Sometimes, when we’re feeling low, just remembering something from our past that puts a smile on our face is all we need to motivate us to start moving in the right direction.

All I’m saying here is that no solution to any problem will come out of a cloudy mind. We never find true answers to our problems when we are struggling in the dark. We should first find our way to a happy place, where the light is. From there, everything looks different, everything is clearer, the road ahead appears more clearly and you just know where you have to go!

That’s all I’m saying really… :) :)
