Alright, then let’s hear it. So far I’ve not heard any good impressions from people who weren’t trying to brainwash me.
no one trying to brain wash you
you either pick life or death Jesus(god) gives us choices you can either pick your path or his path but he says pick his path because there is life
i know u gonna say u dont belive in him becuase he doesnt exist and other things your entitle to ur opioion
but i belive he exist and if u say im wrong then im wrong for u but if i am right which i know then what will happen to you do u want to gamble with your life
to be a chistian is to have love for one another forgive even when it hurt no anger among other of course were human we get mad or sad but in the end its all gone
Common understanding: A Christian is a person who adheres to the teachings of Christianity, an Abrahamic, monotheistic religion based on the life and teachings of the historical figure Jesus of Nazareth, commonly referred to as the “Christ.”
The term “Christian” is also used adjectivally to describe anything associated with Christianity, or in the Western world, in the proverbial sense for “all that is noble, and good, and Christ-like.”
Abstracted from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian
However, your question may have more to do with wanting a personal understanding of how being a Christian would feel and how it would be lived. If so, you may reply further to this post and I will answer what I’m able.
Best regards.

in the bible it says (Deuteronomy 30 vs19-20
(19)This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live
(20)
You can make this choice by loving the LORD your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the LORD, you will live long in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

any comments………….
first things that come to my mind are: closed minded, stubborn and judgmental.
when i think of athesist i think of angry people
and i am a christian and not all are angry ppl
we cant judge ppl god says dont judge others but if you are what your are you can’t get mad
if i am a duck i cant get mad if someone say im a duck
wouldnt u say a non beliver is close minded becuase they dont want to hear the word of GOd and and being ethnocentric to there belif
I was raised christian in a very devout religious family. For the first 25 years of my life I tried to be christian. I fought back, just like you, sticking up for my faith, just like you, pointing to the scriptures in the bible, just like you. I felt I had the truth, just like you. I immediately answered away any possibilities that were against christianity, just like you. I slowly but surely realized that i was imprisoned by my own belief system. I think freely now and have more peace and sanity and security than I ever knew possible as a christian. I learned how to stop judging, why to stop judging. I learned how to start learning, how to open my heart and mind and soul to every possibility. I learned to embrace truth–not as a rigid set of rules–but as a changing, growing, flowingly beautiful thing. I don’t discount the bible, or god, or jesus, or anything beautiful and powerful that comes from being a christian…but i ALSO don’t discount any teachings from any other religion or philosophy or science or mysticism. I don’t chalk anything unpleasant up to the devil or evil or sin…I embrace it as part of the whole and part of the divine and holy origin that it is. That everything is.
i dont follow religon i follow jesus
I believe athiests are just as closed minded as christians. yin and yang. essentially the same, equal and opposite. To claim to know the truth about the beginning of existence at this point in time, is simply premature. Assigning yourself to one of these two perspectives does indeed close you in.
do you believe jesus is the only way to heaven
and that he is the only one GOd
i believe we are all part of the source. jesus was an excellent example of being part of the source. religion has a way of making humans think they are puny and unworthy and smaller with the need to look outside themselves for all the answers and to compare themselves to this perfect example and when they fall short, to lament and beg an outside source to forgive them and help them. religion ignores the most important factor in all this: we are also just as much a part of the source (god, if you will) as jesus is. we have all the compassion and forgiveness and love inside of us already and religion has made us forget this. religion has made us judge ourselves and second guess ourselves and learn to fear. Fear what? fear what might happen to us when we die? the ultimate fear. the unknown. but how could it be any other way than to be reconnected to the source from which we originated?
im kind of confused on ur response

Does that mean that any other path holds no life according to Christianity?
Why, sure, he existed. About 2000 years ago. But that don’t mean he had the cheat codes to life.
I believe that you believe. I believe it is foolish when they say they “know” he exists or summat. Knowledge is based on facts, belief is based on the heart/brain’s processes.
“which i know” And there’s that saying again.
“do u want to gamble with your life ” Lqtm. I’m not gambling with my life, I just will lose it someday. If you believe otherwise, I respect that, but highly doubt you’ll manage to get past the 120th year of your life. Very highly.
“to be a chistian is to have love for one another forgive even when it hurt”
That’s easy to say, but your actions hardly show. You always say to the “non-believers” that they will burn in hell, and if that’s showing love then I’m a pumpkin pie with crumbled pieces of dark chocolate on top. Mm…
i never siad i hated any one i love every i disagree to what they say i can hate no sir
this is my computer so u can see my expression only what i write its the same way i can think u writing with anger when u not
you said you would burn in hell i didnt say you you chose it not me i cant hate you that what you want
you can either take it or not im just giving the word its choice i cant force you
remember that

I don’t see no Jesus here, nor a saying about him being the one to lead to the path of life. That quote is utterly meaningless.

No, that would go for those “anti theists” who refuse to listen. Normal atheists simply weren’t received any evidence to support his reality, and thus don’t find it mandatory to believe. Like not having to believe in alien life-forms descending upon us like the scientologists believe will happen.
Also, definition of close-minded:
“Intolerant of the beliefs and opinions of others; stubbornly unreceptive to new ideas.”
The tolerant part falls; the unreceptive part isn’t due to being stubborn but due to the above stated reason. I.e, logic. Indeed, they stubbornly hold onto logic, but that’s part of having a human mindset. Logical deduction.
Jesus is God your not going to understand until you put him in your life its meaninlgless to u because u consider it meaning less
all i can tell you is receive him
u can quote and quote but he is real find it in you
I love you toix okay nto being hyporcite at the end of the day we think different thats okay buddy

Jesus is God
Wrong. Jesus, according to Christianity, is the “son of God”. I shouldn’t be inferring from this single case, but I’m starting to see a pattern.
read romans 10
yes jesus is son of GOd but he is GOd
john 10 vs 30
well im closing this post u can either take it or leave it
The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being, which Jesus would be if He were not God, could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death.
well im out peace 2

You fail to see the irony, doncha.
All I see in the Romans 10 is saying the Jews are wrong. I now see where the preachers got their preaching habits from. Thanks for the referral.
