If Windows Essentials isn’t listed in Programs and Features, or if it’s listed but the Uninstall wizard doesn’t appear after clicking Windows Essentials in Control Panel, you can manually start the Uninstall wizard by following these steps:
1. In Windows XP, click Start, then click Run, and then type
%programfiles%\Windows Live\Installer (or copy and paste)and click OK.
In Windows Vista or Windows 7 (32-bit), click the Start button , and then type %programfiles%\Windows Live\Installer (or copy and paste) in the Search box, and then press Enter.
In Windows 64-bit versions, click the Start button , and then type %programfiles(x86)%\Windows Live\Installer (or copy and paste) in the Search box, and then press Enter.
2. Double-click wlarp.exe and select the option Remove one or more Windows Live programs .
3. Select the program(s) that you want to uninstall, and then click Uninstall.
