school help: Does anyone know where I would even begin to locate these grants? - Help.com

Does anyone know where I would even begin to locate these grants?

I’m at my wits end, everywhere I’ve tried has turned out to be a dead end. It’s just my son and I and I’m trying to send him to a school for gifted children. He is having trouble fitting in at his current school. His peers can’t “relate” to him and therefore he is becoming an outcast. The school that I wish to send him to is the only one in my area, but the tution is out of my range. Even with working my full-time job and doing whatever extras I can to raise money, it still won’t be enough to send him there without some finacial assistants. I’m soooo lost and any advice would be gladly welcomed and greatly appreciated! THANK YOU!!!

i would ask either of the schools if they offer financial assistance and go from there, since they should know…

Thank you. The school can help me with a small portion of the tution, but then the rest is up to me. Unfortunetly, they didn’t have any answers for me regarding grants or other financial assistance.

The school can give you a list of sources for grants. There may be a financial councellor at the school as well.
