Just do it and reward yourself afterward. Think of the things you would rather be doing and tell yourself that you can do them after your work is completed. Then knuckle down and go have some fun after. You will feel better and enjoy yourself more once you don’t have the homework on your mind!

I’m exactly the same - I’m going to make a detailed revision plan which has time for work and time for fun, to reward myself if I get the work done - hope it works!

Whatever the task, break it down into smaller parts. Focus on one item whether it be a math problem or writing a paragraph. Do it then reward yourself with a mini-break. Now go back and double the amount of work such as 2 math problems or 2 paragraphs. Take a break then double that work. Pretty soon you will find yourself into the work and focused.

Also turn off other distractions. If you are doing the homework on a computer, unplug the network cable so you won’t go out on the internet as long as you dnon’t need the internet for your homework. Turn off your phone. Text messages and emails can wait until later.
