so I’m trying to gain some weight but no matter how much I eat I won’t gain a pound.
I use to play competitive sports at the rec center about 2-3 times a week and would lose about 2-5 pounds each session so I decided to stop going altogether in hopes of gaining some weight. This continued for about 3 months but only resulted in me being constantly sleepy and sluggish 24/7- basically I felt like crap. I couldnt stand being constantly sleepy/sluggish anymore so I went to the rec center yesterday. (lost another 3 pounds *cry*) I was thinking of eating sticks of butter for the next few weeks so I’d get fat but I’m pretty sure that’ll just give me a heart attack. I’ve tried protein shakes, vitamen pills, eating Mc.donalds for a week etc… but nothing works. Anyways, I’m about 5′7 and weigh a mere 120 pounds. Anyone have any suggestions on what food groups I should be focusing on or have any lifestyle changes I should put into effect in order to gain a few pounds?
