2nd would be from another doctor, organisation, etc. Sounds like they are biased toward you based on your previous medical history. Start somewhere with a blank slate if you can find one especially after the complete digitization of medical records…

I can’t go to a different DOC, it’s the doc that is assigned to the place where I live. Only she can sign the permission, that’s the law.
Tomorrow I will go ranting to her face… and I will either make her to sign or they’ll throw me out of the hospital via security guards.
baby i hear your frustration but you attract more bees with honey than vinegar….. getting your self thrown out by a bunch of rent a cops is not going to get your teeth removed. If you feel the test are wrong tell her to do them over or take a vaca to new york city and get it done here. enjoy the scenery while your at it.
What’s a “vaca”? You know, a plane ticket to NY plus a visa costs 2 times I make a month.
By the way, ranting helped. Now the doc sent me to do more tests and analysis, to be sure that there’s nothing wring with my internal organs. And these tests are free of charge, all because of the rant.
Hopefully I’ll get the permission in a week or so…

Doctors are about money. She is protecting her license. You could ask for conscious sedation such as Demerol, it works just as well.

Anyways, that situation happened in the old country, sedation using psychoactive meds is not available there, they don’t even use nitros in medicine there. The only two pain management methods they use in dentistry there are ledocaine and some IV drug that puts you out completely. Also they are not free, if you need emergency stuff and you don’t have the money to pay for the painkillers you’ll be drilled into without painkilling whatsoever.
So I got the permit and got all the dental work done before moving to the UK. Obtained the permission by threatening that doc who was in charge of approving. Basically yes, they are all very protective of their licenses, and the way I’ve put the threat - it would most certainly have obliterated her license.
“Cow” translates to “vaca” in Spanish.
Read the context, in the sense of it that “vaca” was a vacation, not a cow.

I sooo need to rant right now.
So I went to the doctor today, to get permission to undergo IV sedation to get 3 of my teeth removed. Because without it the dentist won’t touch me. That doc should have given me the permission with the results of the cardiogram I took and blood tests. And so… the doctor REFUSED to sign the permission. My blood analysis showed that the amount of some “elements” in my blood is somewhere near the stratosphere, INSANELY high. But the cardiogram was just perfect. The doc sent me to get another test done, so I went, spent a couple of coins on it, waited in line for 1.5 HOURS! Took the express analysis, the levels were even higher. So I bring the results to the doc, and she looks at me with her eyes square-shaped and after asking numerous amounts of questions about how my bowels work, do I have erectile/defecating/peeing/ disorders, do I feel suffocation and so on. Every my answer was “no”, because my body works just fine, besides the brain that is. So the doc finally tells me that with THAT kind of analysis… she’s amused beyond description on how am I still alive. Because technically my internal organs should have been long out of order and my heart should have exploded a couple of years back. I asked “WTF do you think is wrong with me?”, the doc said “Somatic nervous disorder”. So I’ve replied “No sh*t, my nerves and brain are f***ed up, but the body works just fine”. Bot that doc refused to believe me ) she said that in order for her to sign the permission I would have to go through a full psychiatric evaluation… and the somatic diagnose goes into my file. Holy freaking s**T!!! So basically I’m denied every sedation method except ledocaine… and in order for me to get my freaking teeth removed I must first go to a mental hospital. INSANE!
