work help: I need help paying for medical bills. - Help.com

I need help paying for medical bills.

I have about 15,000 I need to pay off. My problem is due to these medical issues, I am unable to work. I do have a steady income, thankfully, from social security. I have not been able to find anyone to approve a loan for me since I do not work.
Any suggestions?

Try a site called prosper.com, I am currently using it for some debt consolidation and rent, and it works very well. And interesting. I saw it reccommended somewhere else on this site, check it out.

Call the hospital and get an appointment and go sit down with them and explain your situation. They will be happy to work with you. Many people just walk away and never pay anything and the hospital could sue the people, but you cannot get “blood out of turnip”! So, they write it off. This is why health care is so expensive.

People like yourself, they will bend over backwards to be patient until you can get on your feet or start drawing disability.

i am suffering with many health issues and can not work. i have no
way to make payment at this time and waiting on ss# but this is a long wait. e.r. bills totallying up very sressful , what can i do to get help with this issue . thank you kim mann
