Angels Tears
To those who had not known angels have one wing,
When they find a match both learn the joys that flight does bring.
As the angels fly together they love and hold each other tight,
Through the course of their loving even angels tend to fight.
When the fighting gets too bad one angel will let go,
Will they perish or be saved only a broken heart does know.
It had been so nice and common when each angel would share,
Now something changed in the eyes when at each other they do stare.
Angel eyes can be chilling yet burn you to the soul,
Or raise you to the heavens until you reach the final goal.
You may be showered with the glory or drenched in their hate,
They’ll make you high and low until to their pain you can relate.
As one does slip from the grasp and spiral toward the ground,
With a heart that’s clearly broken and sobs the only sound.
Suddenly they stop decent and strike the unforgiving land,
Each time this does happen a single tear will turn to sand.
Every now and then the sand will rise into a storm,
This is one of many ways our destinies do form.
Many are the words that go unspoken of this feat,
Neither angel now will know how it feels to be complete.
One angel is ever hasty while the other tried and true,
Both did have the thrill of flight but neither really flew.
Goodbyes have always been so difficult to say,
Even so we use them each and everyday.
Some are said in anger and some are said with love,
Too see them after this is a gift from up above.
They could be lost to someone else and simply make you cry,
Some have even disappeared due to a little lie.
When you lose a lover the hurt is beyond compare,
First is the shock and the knowing it’s not fair
We have no control of where they go or what they do,
It never quite hits home until a beloved is lost to you.
So don’t trap the tears or anger that we often hold inside,
Never say goodbye due to foolish pride.
You need not speak the words just show others how you feel,
Bad goodbyes are not the way to say I LOVE YOU STILL.
So back to the angel for their match does he seek,
With a single soulful tear rolling down his cheek.
