my search engines have stopped working,,, !

!!!!!! when ever I type anything into google or yahoo it takes a while and then always sais internet explorer could not display the web page. However If i manually type the web address into the address bar it will find it. I basically have to remember all the web sites I frequently visit because none of my search engines work. My anti - virus software KASPERSKY recently expired and I’m starting to wonder if it has anything to do with it !! Is there anyone out there who could shed light on this mystery , it is driving me FRUSTRATION !!!!!!!!

First priority:

Get your anti-virus and internet protections sorted out.

Then, download your search engines again.
