Most libraries and will have lots of suggestions and many can be accessed online.

Here’s a couple of examples of lists from libraries and schools:

Fish around and see what catches your eye!

im going into 9th, too. i love all of laurie halse anderson’s book. they’re REALLY good. speak is especially good, but so is wintergirls. the house of night series is pretty good. there are a lot of books so it keeps you occupied. oh, the georgia nicholson series is really really funny. those are good books, starting with “angus, thongs, and full-frontal snogging.” if you’re a girl. are you a girl or a boy?

Stravaganza.
It’s a 3 book series, about a boy with brain cancer who is transported into a mirror world of medieval Italy. Give it a chance at least through the first book, it’s truly spectacular. Also, anything by Donna Jo Napoli is exquisite.

Lol, apparently there are 5 books now, which means I have my work cut out for me to finish the last two. I never knew they came out. >->;;
Here’s the title list.
# 1 City of Masks
# 2 City of Stars
# 3 City of Flowers
# 4 City of Secrets
# 5 City of Ships

Anne Bishop’s Black Jewels series. Great books, hard to keep up with, but extremely well written. Also, her Tir Alainn trilogy.

If you havent already read them, Harry Potter, Eragon Inheritance trilogy, and the Twilight series.

Black jewels is romantic like twilight, but as complex and dark as Harry potter. If you liked those two, you’ll love it.
