Chinese is spoken by about a billion people. Mandarin in particular is the one language on earth that the greatest number of people have as their first language. As a second language, English is most common. Not sure where you got 130 million - maybe you are talking about Cantonese, or Shanghaiese or something?

On one hand,I did’nt have plenty of experience in this aspect.On the other hand, I think although chinese girls are quite reserved, they would like to make friends with others, you’d better talk something about life and family. In a word,I suppose common chinese like a open-minded,kind-hearted person.

I definitely support you talk to her about this matter, you can’t stop thinking about her which improves that you still like her very much. If not, you will always live in a doubt and glum life for a long time, maybe can’t get back to have a courage to make friends with others. A friend can see you through, when others think that you are through, after all, you and she are best friends, and I’m sure you can keep the friendship with her. what’s more, any chinese girl does not have prejudice to a spanish guy, and glad to develop the friendship with him to broaden the horizon about the foreign country’s culture and life style. you did not talk to and even call her probably deepened the misunderstand between you and she, so this school trip is a splendid chance to make everything clean. If I were she , maybe you just need to explain why you were so angry at me. I guess all you misgivings can be solved. “sighs”man im confused,and i need some help,hahahahaha,ok,when we got on the bus to go to the trip,i sat next to her and we talked about it,when i told her i liked her i saw her smile,but she told me she only saw me as a friend…….BULLSHIT!!!!during those 3 days we got VERY CLOSE!!!we cuddled all the time,we were always together,but i was a little confused…Ok,one of my friends in the trip told me that he made the stupidest mistake,and i asked him what he did,and what he told me made my situation worst.He also liked this girl,and they were always together,but he gave her a kiss,and she didnt like it at all and she told him the friendship was over.So that put me in more confusion,im also with this girl,were always together,cuddling,flirting,but i didnt dare to kiss her,not after what my friend told me.But,i knew she had a boyfriend,and i started to see she liked me,cuz come on,it was obvious,even my friends and complete strangers thought we were going out,hehehe.So after the trip,i told her “u know that i still like u,and i wanna know how u feel about me” and she told me she liked me,so i asked her what she was gonna do,stay with her boyfriend,or stay with me,and she said she was a little confused and she was gonna think about it.SO,the day came when i asked her what was up,and she told me “lets just be friends”…..A SECOND TIME????i was like”what the hell is wrong with this girl?”,but i started thinking,i could see she liked me before i found out she had a boyfriend,and she told me to be just friends,but that same very day,we got close as hell,and later she told me just friends,but right now i can STILL see she feels something for me,hahaha,specially today cuz i gave her a little gift i always told her i was gonna give her cuz i knew she loves them,and when i gave it to her,i could see it on her eyes,the way she hugged me and everything,we were even HOLDING hands,and i know that cant be just friends,specially when she told me she liked me the day before she said just friends.So this is what i think,she likes me,but shes very shy,and maybe she doesnt want to be with me cuz she has a boyfriend and she doesnt want to look like a slut,and maybe she doesnt know how to brake up with her boyfriend.the worst part is that valentines day is soon,and i wanna win her back before that day,so,any suggestions????i would appreciate any advice or any thoughts on this,thanks a lot!!!!!

hahahahaha,Wujing,i think this is just not meant to be.This girl is VERY confusing,like,at the date,everything went ok,she was very very shy,but it was ok.And then today back at school,she just ignored me completely,well….not ignore,but like she didnt talk to me at all,or nothing,like if nothing had happened,i know she usually does that when shes nervous and shy(well…shes allways shy),but i really am getting tired of her acting like that.Today at the class we had the chance to send a card and rose to anyone for valentines,so i just made up my mind,and got one for her,but,i wrote “lets just be friends”,i dont know if that was the right desicion,but i AM tired of this *******,cuz one day she likes me,the other day she ignores me,and the other she tells me just friends,and im not a toy she can play with.So,lets just see how it goes,thanx for ur time with this problem i have(or had)ill keep informing u,hahaha

Sorry that I can’t help you practising English like others. I am Thai, who can speak English to survive day-by-day and cannot speak Chinese. I think both languages are quite important to our modern world nowadays and you are so lucky that you can learn both. Please be proud of your Chinese as it’s your mother-tongue and learn more English as an important language at the same time. Many people in Thailand are trying to learn your language, FYI.
