well theres really more than 7, cuz cuba & haiti & dominican rep, ect, are also part of central america. so there is way more than 7.

Most people think 7 countries but mostly there are actually 13 countries, and they are:
Bahamas, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Belize, Gautemala, Dom. Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Panama, Haiti, Jamaica, Nicaragua, and Honduras.
