My name is Eric, and I am a young business owner.
I never had much growing up. Grew up in the midwest and had enough to survive. College wasn’t for me, I wanted to do my dream. My dream was to help man’s best friend. Yes I am a dog trainer. I love helping people understand their dogs and help them have a happier life. I have changed so many lives so far and i intend to do much more. I moved to TX and became certified, and then moved to NJ where i met my true love working at a training facility. Due to having the dogs we had, we were forced into purchasing a home. Being that in NJ its difficult to get ahead when your not born with anything, we decided to look into owning our own kennel. Well with much time and effort we are here. It is truely a dream come true, everything that we ever wanted. We’ve only been operating for 6months now, but the problem is the debt that we brought with us. The house that we owned is not selling in NJ and about to be forclosed on. Plus, the credit cards and car payments that weren’t so bad being in NJ are now not getting paid here. We weren’t able to take out a 2nd on this property here in IL due to the home in NJ. There went that option, and the mortgage company for the IL home decided 5 days before closing that in order to make it happen we would need an additional 30,000. This was already on top of the 30,000 we were putting down. The additional was to keep us ahead for start up. We had to bite the bullet and put the money up. I new it would have been a struggle, but after 6months I’ve gone into what I feel is depression. I don’t know what to do anymore. Business is picking up, just not fast enough. Our credit is shot now due to the lack of payments on our debt, and at this point I dont’ know what we are going to do, but pray. All I ever wanted for my girlfriend and I to do out here is get married have kids and a successful business. It really makes me up set seeing what i’ve done. I feel like I cant see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m only 22 and Christina is 26, we are to young for this stress i feel. CAN ANYONE HELP US?
