Red bump from tick bite still there after 2 months?

I got bit by a tick while paint balling on the lower part of my back above the waist of my pants.
This was over two months ago and the bump is still there. It’s no larger than a misquito bite, no ring around it, and occassionally it itches but there’s no goop or pus coming out of it, it’s not an open sore.

The tick was brown with a white spot. It wasn’t a deer tick.
So why is the bump still there and how can I get rid of it?

Nahh I’m just kidding!!
It’s just taking a little while for your skin to heal and go back to normal.

But over 2 months? It’s a little ridiculous.
I can slice my hand open deeper than that tick bit me and it’ll still heal much faster than this.

If you reopen (scratch) the same bump it doesn’t heal.
Poster, put a bandaid on that thing and let the magical healing powers begin!

I have had ant bites do this in the past. Is the bump a little bit raised? What I had to do was re-open the spot. There turned out to be a little pus or goop in there, and once that drained out it began to heal like normal after that. Like you, I had red bumps (slightly raised) that lasted FOREVER, until I opened them up. Hope it helps.

you sure the ticks not still in there? or a part of it? theyre ******* to get out, ticks. often when you pull one out they drop their butts with the little crawlers still on em, so you may have only got half the tick out.

Hey it’s the OP here.

I went to the doctors they took my blood.
No diseases. They gave me some ointment stuff to put on it 3 times a day.
It’s going away now.

Hey, i got a tick bite on my tummy, about 2 and 3/4 months ago, and i got so pissed off, becuase there was a sore on it, where the tick was. It was raised and hard, and RED. one day i got a pin, and jabbed it softly, making it bleed, all around i jabbed it, and squeezed for aaaaggeess. Until i could no longer feel lumpyness. This clear stuff did come out though. Now, its still red, but not lumpy. Do YOU know anything I can do to get rid of the redness? :) thankss
