finances help: I am in dire need. - Help.com

I am in dire need.

Financially we are down. My husband and I are both students and he is working, but not making much. He works for his brother and we just aren’t making it. My sons medications are outrageous, he has a bleeding disorder. My husband and I don’t even have health insurance and he’s sick now. So much so that he needs medication. We have no one to go to, his brother lives very well, but has no concern for our situation. We try and be as good as we can, we donate whenever we can, to charities, we help people however we can. We don’t want recognition for whatever deeds we do, but I just wish that some good luck or blessings would befall us every now and again.

Perhaps you should stop donating to charity and helping other people, and starting helping yourselves. Your husband should stop working for his brother and find a better job. What welfare is available to you?

I mean sometimes you gotta wonder where is the legitamacy in some of these cases, why do people make them up sometimes? Not saying that this is one, but you never know?

I know everyone thinks that there is help through the county, but for one, they won’t give us much. I guess sometimes you have to be dishonest to get their help. We have gotten insurance for the boys, but they still won’t pay for all of his medications. He can’t quit working for his brother - he thinks. We don’t get much by way of aide either because they feel that I should go out and work, I am in school and take care of my kids - there really isn’t time for me. We do take care of ourselves first, but I was also raised that if you do good for others, it will come back to you, I guess that is what I am waiting for. Also, I understand that people may not be honest when they post these, but as for the anonymous response, don’t come to these sites if you think they are not real, they are for people who need help and want to help eachother.
