I’m deciding on a haircut, and I need help!

!

1st off… I have grown out bangs (about chin length) with long hair, and a face frame I’m also trying to grow out. It’s light brown and wavy in texture, prone to frizz. I used to straighten it, but it dealt serious damage to my hair. (And, yes, I did use products to protect it from damage. :P)

Here’s the problem… I was a haircut that will compliment my face face. I have a long, oval face with somewhat of a high forehead, and a very, small weak chin. My jawline is not very defined, and that is my greatest insecurity. I feel like my face frame only accentuates my worst feature. Does anyone have any advice for a flattering haircut?

Thanks so much. XOXO, Michelle

Sorry about that comment my friend, most of the people on here are serious minded and mature. That was a very immature statement by CJMroc.

These are two good sites that could help.

Shave it off. It will make your features stand out. People will remember you, and be interested in you, and it will make you stand out.

Just look at Sinead O’Connor.

Have you seen Zach Braff with a shaved head? Yeah, those with a weak chin do not bode well bald…

Sinead O’Connor also has a beautiful bone structure.

Maybe go into a salon and ask for some advice, this way they can look at you in person and give some suggestions and you can decide from there! Good Luck!!

Get a Mohawk or get hi-lites, you could get a chelsea-hawk which is The same as a mohawk but the bangs are left in the front to frame face. It’s Usually the female version of a mohawk. It Comes from the Chelsea hairstyle, which is a completely shaved head with only the bangs left at the front.

I have the same problem. Any medium to longer length hairstyle (to not accentuate your chin) with soft fringy bangs (not thick but not thin so thin they look spidery) at eyebrow length that go lower at the sides will take attention away from your nose and chin and accentuate your eyes. I also had thin permanent black eyeliner in my eyelash line to help accentuate my eyes with an added thin bit up black/brown/charcoal(for a softer accent) on top of that on the upper lid. Boy do I love it! I don’t mind as much when people come over unexpectedly because I never look as plain as I would (espeically at 55 and less eyelashes than I used to have) otherwise but still have a natural look.

hi, my name is melissa i don’t have a suggestion about how to cut your hair but i do have a suggestion u may be interested in. i also have long, frizzy, kinky curly hair . i have also used straighteners and damaged it before. i tried the instyler and it works great, without damage. the process takes 30 min to an hour after every shampooing or getting it wet. i got 2 instylers for about $140. u can get 1 for about $100. www.getinstyler.com
