she was going out with this guy last year and i didn’t really like him cause i could tell he was gonna be bad news. and i told her what i thought and she of course got mad. we fought about it for awhile but we eventually gave up on fighting and i just dealt with it. then she broke up with him and said it was my fault. and for some reason it randomly came up last week that i hurt her so bad and took away her happiness by making them break up. so somehow this is all my fault. i’ve sincerely apologized so many times but that will never be enough. i’ve hurt her too much and i don’t think she’ll ever forgive me.

This is a very tragic situation, perhaps you two were never meant to last a lifetime as friends. If she isn’t capable of forgiving her best friend, you may accept it as fate. Don’t leave out possibilities though, she may find someone new and thank you for ‘causing’ the breakup. Try apologizing at a later date, she may realize that her behavior has been childish. I hope you two can rekindle your friendship, it hurts to lose someone you’re close with.
