For once my life has been pleasant!
Just wanted to share with you guys that things have finally started looking up for me. Usually my life is filled with a bunch of crap that isn’t good for anyone. Well things finally seem to be turning around, and it is odd what has seemed to do it lol.
For a couple of years now I have wanted a motorcycle. And I have even gone through the effort of picking out the perfect bike for me. Although I figured I would never get it, and things would just continue the way they’ve always been. My wife (who I love dearly and hasn’t been the cause of any of my unrest) has always encouraged me to try out the mc scene. But I have never had access to any bikes that I could practice on to see if it was something I had a knack for or not.
A couple weeks ago, I finally got ahold of a dirt bike for a couple hours. I know it’s not the same as a motorcycle but it was the best I could manage lol. Turns out, I have an affinity for riding. So we went looking for motorcycles. I found a couple that I wanted, but then I noticed one at a dealer that was about $1000 less than all the private sellers were selling for and I jumped on the opportunity….even managing to buy it before another customers credit check came back for it lol.
I’ve now had the bike for a little less than 2 weeks, and I have already put about 200 miles on it…..with just pure joy riding lol. I have already joined 1 mc club, called patriot guard riders. And I will most likely join another one next year B.A.C.A.
This is the first time in my life I have ever had the opportunity to truly do something I enjoy. Not only that, but I get to join a couple clubs and contribute to worthy causes. All in all, this has added purpose and relaxation to my life. Both of which were lacking.
Sorry for the long rant guys, I am just so excited lol.
