Sounds like it could be a sinus infection, you should see a doctor.

well, if it is a sinus infection then your going to need some antibiotics to clear it up

Well IF it is Sinusitis (I maybe wrong) then probably not unless it’s being caused by a virus (like a cold). Also it could be because you got hit by a hockey stick accross the nose a long time ago - that might add to it.

In the mean time you could try using a painkiller and a decongestant.

I have the same problem, I had surgery due to sinus problems and I think you need a MRI to confirm you do too.

Even though you do not want to see a doctor, I would suggest you see one. If this is a serious problem, ignoring it could result in more problems and more doctor visits then you would have otherwise.

Well, I guess a cut nose is better then the problem you were having before. Glad it is better and you didn’t need to see a doctor :)

Well, now I can understand a little more about why you are tired of seeing doctors. I know nothing about osgood schlatters disease, but disease or not, it does not sound fun. I wish you the best in your treatment and recovery for it :)

Hey redstar! I see that you’re better but I’ll share my wisdom anyway! My nose hurt like that for a while and I think it was sinusitus. Tablets did no good but I got a saline nasal spray (attractive no?) and it worked a charm! :) Anyway I realise you’re all better but I figured I’d reply anyway

Yeah do! The best thing is they’re really inexpensive and they work right away and it’s really only made of salt+water so it’s not like you’ll be drugging yourself up! You just get them over the counter in your pharmacist..Mine was called otrivine :)

My nose has been mysteriously hurting as well, its aching right now but when I ethier twitch my nose or go to raise my brows (which make my nostrils flare)my nose ache turns into a very very bruised hurt, like I broke my nose or something. but I think I would be able to tell if it was. I do not have sinus problems and am not currently ailed by anything. I dont understand. anyone have any ideas why it could be causing me so much trouble?

I am having the same problem. Its been feeling like that for about 4 days now. It feels like Im tightening my nose all the time and Im not and it is so uncomfortable. It also been giving me a headache. Its kinda scary cuz I have had sinus problems before and it sure dont feel like it did then. I been going to the gym too so I dont know if its cuz I been working out. I haven no clue
