How to stop talking too much?
I’m deaf and I was born deaf too. I live with my parents and sister. I’m 19 years old and I love to talk too much. I use sign language in whole my life until when I was two years old, my mom started learn in sign language class for a few years. She started learn sign language by using few dictionary books. When I was 14 years old, my mom took ASL class for five years to learn 14 levels. She learned more signs and she also learned to make more ASL than in English sign language. When I have a lot of questions or I talk about something with my mom and she wants to me stop talking because some people need to take their turns to talk or on the phone. When I finish talk, my mom looks around to different people while their turns to talk but I still more talking something, my mom says, “Please wait!” That’s not my fault and this is problem that I can’t hear when people are talking because I’m deaf! My dad and sister become very frustrate that I can’t stop talk with my mom all the time that they want to talk to my mom too and they think that’s not fair. I can’t stop talking that I have hard time to stop signing because I love talking. Today, I became very upset because my mom told me many times that I couldn’t stop talking and she became very mad with me to stop talk. I tried my best I tried to talk less and but I can’t hear if people are talking that she must accepts that I’m deaf. How can I stop talk or how make my parents and sister stop become mad if I talk too much?
