I am considering getting a hedgehog.

I have began to contact breeders(they are legal in NY) and i am just wondering what you have paid for yours. I dont care if you are in another state or country, i will do the conversions, i am just trying not to get ripped off.

Secondly, do people who have cat and dog fur/hair allergies have problems with hedgehogs?

thank you for the immediate answer :) and that is good because my dad is highly allergic and he thinks he will have problems, also, what did you pay for your hedgehog, if you are comfortable telling me

You’re welcome. I didn’t buy it, i found it injured & rescued it, then kept it,i’d have no idea what they would cost, ive never even heard of people buying them as pets until this post.
My cat allergy used to be quite bad, thats when i had the hedgehog, it had no effect on it.
