(unfortunate weather conditions in the nation’s midsection) + (over-speculation in the stock market) = the great depression.

greatly simplified, to be certain, it was a combination of many events.

The stock market did not crash, it readjusted. People were investing in things that had no worth and the market falsely inflated. Same thing as the tech stock crash of 2000.

The truth is no one has yet figured out why the whole world went broke, if they had they would stop it from doing so again like it is right now…
