If you go through the GED program at your high school
and get your diploma through a GED, is that not as good as a diploma that someone gets by actually physically graduating? Someone at the school board was discussing GEDs with us today, and he said that the GED diploma and a graduation diploma are the same thing. Is this true? Does this mean that if one were to get a GED, he/she would not be denied a job that a high school diploma person would not be denied? Would colleges and employers consider a GED individual “not good enough” for their university or company? Is there any difference at all between a GED diploma and a traditional diploma? If so, what are the differences?
