i put in my contacts yest morning and my eye was already a little red.

throughout the day its redder and became painful. i took them out right when i got home. it got better yesterday night today when i woke up in the morining my eye hurts and waters after i blink. has anyone had this?

It can have several reasons: dryness, allergies (together with cat hairs or pollen), irritation of conjunctiva.
Use eye drops!
Eye drops exists in different types: For moistening only (same ingredients like the tears) or to combat allergies or against conjunctivitis. Ask your doctor or a pharmacist!
People with light eyes are more often affected.

ive had that for years…turned out my contacts werent shaped right….they were too round not flat enough…i eneded up ruining my eyes by wearing my contacts when they got bad…be careful and call your eye dr.
