My dog ate a gum wrapper.

My 4 lb 13 week old cavachon swallowed a trident gum wrapper. There were 2 on the floor and she grabbed the second one before i could. I’m really scared! PLEASE HELP!

Dont worry, it will come out the other end just fine. Helping to wipe it’s bum on the way out.

You have a puppy and if a gum wrapper is the only thing this puppy of yours has eaten so far consider yourself lucky. Never interfere unless the dog is chocking and is not getting air. Like the other person said most things will come out the other end. Treat a puppy like a child and puppy proof your house.

If a dog thinks it can eat something, it usually can. My dog eats ****, if I see him, I stop him, but it doesn’t harm him.
