you cant because you would have to do something to prove it to them and that means it is wrong

I concur with black rose. I was bullied once. The most difficult thing about it was that the guy that bullied me didn’t understand that he was doing something wrong. He would nearly explode with anger when I asked him to justify my numerous bruises and when I told him to stop. He was mad at me because he had done something wrong…and at the same time he would not admit to it. It made no sense. It’s not really effective to try to reason with people when they do something wrong.

Sry dude I don’t think you’re going to get anywhere. I’m not going to argue with you. I’m the passive type. Best to let it go.

What if a more advanced society landed on our planet and imposed there will upon the human being and then treated us like animals and started factory farming us. Then how would you like to respond to that comrade. Thats right we were discovered to be tasty by a society that was superior to us and they began eating humans. Then do you get my freaking point. And STOP saying Yummy like it’s some kinda JOKE!

Oy, mellow down a bit. I’m not going to agree to either side. I get your point of view, but the thing is; Well yes animals are more or less processed through factories using less than humane methods(I watched Food Inc.), but this issue runs deep. It’s like convincing people to go green despite evidence of our deteriorating home world. Whatever your beliefs you’re not going to change anyone’s minds in an instant. Don’t get too worked up about it kay?

Well, God gave mankind dominion over the animals in the Garden of Eden. They are our responsibility, so we should care for our animals and treat them with respect. However, God also told us that we can eat the meat of animals following the Great Flood. This was for many reasons which I won’t bore you with.
I do agree however that factory farming can be very cruel, and I don’t approve of it. Animals should be free to roam, and only what is needed should be bred. On that basis I agree with you.
As regards your overall argument, it is only partly valid. Yes, if what you described did occur it would be horrid; but mankind didn’t land on Earth from another planet! We are part of the eco-system, and just as animals eat each other, we also eat them to survive.

Eat to live don’t live to eat. I digress. They might not be able to change their ways but we certainly can.

Feel free to. Personally I will continue to eat meat.
