How do I get out of my abusive marraige.

My family is siding with him, and is giving me no support. I have two kids, and don’t know what to do first

Initially I’d suggest finding a friend that you can stay with while you file for divorce.

Could you provide a bit more information?

does your family know what he is doing to you? you should have to go through that. get out before you cant, abuse is nothing to play with. get out even if you have to go to a shelter.

First, get out. If you are away from him you will be in a better place mentally as far as making the decisions that will follow.

Even if your family is on his side, you have to do what you can to get to a shelter, or another safe place. Most shelters can accomodate your children as well.

If you can, document anything your husband has done (photograph any bruises, marks, etc, tape record him if he threatens you verbally - BUT do not do so if there is a risk of you being caught and him hurting you further).

Tell someone outside your family. Preferably more than one person. In a situation like yours it is easy to believe that there is nothing you can do and that you are powerless, but you are not powerless. There are a lot of people out there who will support you, even if your family is not doing so.

Do what you have to while you can the abuse only getd worse with time and if your faamily wants to side with him so be it you have to make your own decisions and live with them but not one second should involve being abused by ANYONE
