hello iam a mother of three and i recently changed jobs and now make 5.00 less then i was before, and that has left me getting behide on my electric any help or suggestions will greatly help, i have already got help from leap but i still need help in getting it lower or all be shut off thanks alot

Good Morning, my Goddaughter needs help paying her utility bill, she’s 37 with 9 kids and 1 one the way, am trying to help her out as much as possible, she’s in the process of trying to get anice 5 bedroom house and she needs this bill paid as soon as possible, the house has passed inspection,but this utility bill has to be paid first, in the amount of $1000.00, if anyone can help us on this matter we weould truly appreciate this through the bottom of our hearts, email response will be good for me

My name is LaShonda Wright and I have been having a problem paying my rent for almost 3 months now and I’m asking you individually or as an agency to help my children and I with this past amount. This is not a scam (as some people sometimes think) this is a real cry for help coming from a real single parent who is in desperate need.
My story is that in the past I’ve ask for help in the Nashville, TN area with all my high price bills. I realize that I’m not the only one in need of financial help and that I need to find a full time job and I do understand but my answer to that is that I’m trying daily at the Maximus (Tennnessee Works) location and in the streets (individually) to look for a job but I just haven’t been successful yet and its actually getting frustrating!
So because I lost my last job (Mrs. Winners) I’ve become behind on all my bills! Some have been disconnected, some I actually found somebody to help me with but most have just remained off and the children and I have just dealt with it. Unlike a lot of people it just seems like I have to pay every utility company in Nashville, TN and it’s very, very, very, hard! My house is cold because the Gas is disconnected due to nonpayment and it cost around $400.00 to get the service back on! The Light bill is caught right now, the Phone is on this month but could be cut off next month! The Water bill is past due ($80.00) and may also be disconnected than we want be able to take baths, was the dishes, flush the toilets, brush our teeth or anything. The children’s father want help out but makes sure that he has all his utilities paid while we suffer! ! ! But the main bill in need of paying ASAP is the RENT! We need shelter during these cold, cold months and any other time as well but my rent is so high that I’ve almost given up and have begin the process of moving/packing once again. But can you believe it after almost 3 months I finally talk to my Landlord (on October 29, 2008) and he has agreed to let me stay in my house as long as I can at least pay him 1 month rent ($725) and pay the other in installments! Thank You Lord! I couldn’t believe it when I heard the news because my previous landlord and his wife would call me on the 6th day of my rent being late demanding the rent money or he would sell the house and then I would be out on the streets! But my new landlord Mr. Green has a heart and is willing to give me a chance to catch up on my rent which is already past due $725.00 for September plus a $72.50 late fee, $725.00 for October plus a $72.50 late fee, and due again on November 1, 2008 in the amount of $725.00 plus a $72.50 late fee because I want have all of it by the 5th of the month but Thank God for second chances! My whole total due is $2,392.50.
So once again I’m coming to whoever can assist me and my children with at least the September rent of $725.00. I know you can’t pay the whole thing and I can’t either but $20, $50, $100, $150, $200 or whatever can always add up to the $725.00. If I can get different individuals or agencies to help my family this will prevent us from being evicted and possibly living in the streets during this winter season. Please Help Us this time.

we are a married couple living in r.i. and are behind in our mortgage and electric bill and we are using gas that goes on a gasgrill. i am a mother of 4 children and have a heart condition and hypertention and diabeties. i do work in a child care center but i am in and out of work due to my illnesses. here is my situation my mortgage is 1758.41 per month and we are behind 2 months due to lack of funding. my light bill is 2100+ and i am on a payment plan but they want 405 per month. my husband works every day and he works long hours 12-15 hours a day and makes 10.00per hour so much for food and oil cause thats about all we really make sure we have to keep warm and make sure the children eat.we use propane gas for hot water and cooking. so if anyone has a heart and cares please help us . we are in the prosess of modifiying our mortgage to a lower interest rate to lower our payments but it takes about 3 months. so if anyone out there can help it would be very much appriciated. may god be with you.
