I need a $25,000 5 year loan with a fixed interest rate of 5%.
My credit scores are in the 400’s. We are currently 2+ months behind on all of our bills and are facing foreclosure. Here is my story of how this happened.
February 28, 2006 started the worst year of my life. Two things happened that day. I was fired from my job for a mistake that “could” have cost the company money and I found out that I have MS. Two days later, my mom found out that her cancer was back and that there were complications. I looked for work and pulled unemployment (which those of you who have been on it know that it is about half of what you made). I was unable to find a job, but continued to look. Meanwhile, my mom got worse and passed away. Two weeks later, my seven year old daughter was attacked by a German Shepard and will need reconstructive surgery. We contacted an attorney and were told to submit our medical bills to the insurance company and that they would pay them. They didn’t. We went to mediation and were told that the $2000 check for the unpaid bills would be mailed out. It wasn’t. Now they are telling us that it was included in the mediation and that the money for those bills is unavailable because it is in the trust account for my daughter and we can not get access to it. So needless to say, with my medical bills, my daughters medical bills, my being unemployed and everything else that could go wrong, has. I am currently working temporary on a 10 month assignment. My husband has been working for the same company for 20 years and we really don’t want to lose our house. Is there someone out there that can help?
