I am gonna take a stab at this and say that the current admin for help.com has no experience capable of creating a help chat room, nor does CBS care to make one.
Well there’s Jalex’s chat and tinychat chat, I guess the chat community hasn’t given up hope yet :P

Yes tobi im aware of this one :P Legion just banned me for no reason on it. Pretty much because he dislikes me. It would work better if there was a way to set official mods. And people like donald would not be able to hi jack it also

Jalex’s chat resembles the unpopular Help.com Chat V2. I dont see it being a success.
When Help.com change from the original to this there was posts of angry from chat users.
Tiny chat is the one that has no official mod and any old fool can take mod and banned people just because they feel like it.
Its just a shame we have no real chat anymore
Hmm tinychat seems to be having problems with loading for most of us, but I don’t see anything wrong in Jalex’s though :) Hmm and by the way, I’m hope from chat okay :) You are Joseph right, or thats wht i think ^_^

I agree. It is somewhat of a shame that the former ‘official’ chatroom has been wiped out. Because unlike the current chatroom in which most of the site members have migrated to, the once official chatroom prevented random users from ruling as mods, thereby keeping some measure of order. But things never stay the same, and changes must be accepted whether they’re liked or not. I don’t envision help.com’s admin(s) reestablishing another chatroom in the near future either. Just my opinion of the matter.
Though I did dislike in the old chat room that a moderator told a user to make a post on help, that the chat room was for talking, not for helping. Talk about defeating the purpose.

There needs to be set mods or any old fool and come along and bann people just because he feels like it
I think we all need to get off the computer and go live we’re living on the computer and starting to get on each others nerves

And yes, the chat room is for chatting…From what i’ve seen in the past chats it would be way more helpful you direct them to the website to get help more effectively
