Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
DO you have a washing machine in your home, or do you need to go to a laundry mat?
Umm well get a wash load on now, it takes about 5 minutes and then you can sit back down while it is doing.
I would blame the Christmas music. It may sound pleasant but it is so sappy, it gums up every motion and feeling and relation.
I think we all get a little ‘lazy’ once in a while, when we have no motivation to do anything and then we tend to feel guilty for not doing anything when we think we should.
Let’s face it though, we are all entitled to these moments and it isn’t like the world will end because a few things don’t get done.
Something I have had to teach myself as I have OCD and tend to go way over the top with things when I get stressed or upset and sometimes it is a case of just letting things get messy or letting yourself take a seat for a while.
There are 3 primary reasons we lose motivation.
1. Lack of confidence – If you don’t believe you can succeed, what’s the point in trying?
2. Lack of focus – If you don’t know what you want, do you really want anything?
3. Lack of direction – If you don’t know what to do, how can you be motivated to do it?
Probably, those are just the MAIN reasons, the usual cause for people to lose motivation and not be able to gain it back.
Did you check out the link, it was pretty interesting.
If you don’t think any of those apply then if you think about it, what do you think is the reason, and I mean the first thing that pops into your head, no matter how small or unrelated you think it is, it could be the cause.

Are there other reasons because those don’t seem to fit.
Maybe the computer drains all your energy and motivation. It definitely does for me because I have to force myself to sit staring at useless “info” rather than actually moving around and enjoying life. One solution I came up with is a stopwatch that counts a small time and beeps — so I can alternate between this computer stuff I know I should do and some other thing to bring me back to life.
Well done, now your kids school uniform will be ready for the morning, one less thing to worry about :D
Ohhh I see…
You need a mix!
Change, something different, excitement, something out of the ordinary.
Maybe change the routine rather than having the same stuff going on and the same stuff needing to be done.
Maybe you could try education, enrol in a night class.
A hobby.
Book club.
A goal of some description that pulls you out of the rut.

Yeah something exciting sounds fun. I wonder what I could do with minimal time commitment as I am very busy?
Time management.
Maybe it is a case of having time off, a holiday due, even if you don’t go anywhere it is time off from work.
Go visiting people, classes..
God place to start is your local library, they tend to shove loads of event’s on the notice boards, things that are going on in your area that you could join or just try out, I mean nothing like trying something once just so you can tell people you have done it.
Yeah I can understand that, it was mainly just an example.
Doing something different even just to be able for it to lead to different conversations.
Also, having something to look forward to gives you drive to keep going.
I think it would be good to get out and do something different.
Maybe make a night of it.
Get a bottle of wine to have before or after you go and maybe a pizza?
Treat yourself once in a while, you deserve it and it makes for a happier you.

. I work with my brain for my job so for fun I like to turn it off :)
Exercise, rest, and food seem to be things to recharge a brain while not doing the brainwork. Speaking of which, I’ve got to get outside and exercise, so, good luck to you and bye.
Cell… just take things easy…. sometimes it is necessary to chuck our routine and just let things be….. peace in life’s way too important to get bothered by routine trivial things….. just curl up in the bed….. might make you feel better….!!!
Glad to see you got the laundry started. So did I.
I have been feeling the need for a break lately. Just to get away from the kids and the day to day routine of life.
One lady I spoke to today told me about how she went to India for a spiritual retreat and when she came back, she felt so refreshed. All those things that where wearing her down, did not feel the same anymore. He husband and Father took care of the little one while she went. I was so jealous.
I know a 10 day retreat in India is not in my future, but I am going to look for a weekend retreat to go to. Maybe you might like something like that too.
I’d blame the crappy weather, but you’re not in the snowy midwest like me. :-p
I wouldn’t get to worried about it dear, we all have those times where we just can’t stand the thought of really doing anything. It sounds like maybe you just need some more time in your life to do things that YOU want to do. Take yourself out to a movie and get some coffee. … Or take a bubblebath. They pretty much solve everything ;)
I don’t know if this will help at all.. but know this. I’m a teen, with a father who I guarantee is more strict than any other parent of the kids in my school. He expects me to surpass his Straight A record in high school, and PHD in chemistry, WHILE managing a 10-2 boxing record. If I don’t live up to his standards, I get kicked out of my house. So basically I am never suppose to slack off. Does that mean I still don’t get lazy every once in a while? **** straight it doesn’t, because I do. And I know EVERYBODY, no matter how hard they work, slacks off occasionally. It’s just a matter of time management. Do your tasks while nothing interesting is going on, if your doing absolutely nothing, get something out of the way you’ll hate to do later !
Not only that, but EVERYONE deserves a vacation once in a while! On top of that, if you feel you deserve a break, then by lord take a break! If it’s your mood that causing this, then engage in a hobby you truly enjoy!

I’m in the snowy Canada so yeah it’s cold here.I took this afternoon off. Thinking I’ll be able to go back to work tomorrow.
Haha.. I saw the “CA” and thought California, not Canada. haha.. sometimes I’m even dumber than I look.
Well, in that case, I completely blame the weather!

Yeah, well at least my kid has clean clothes for school. Folding is seriously over-rated.
I have just cleaned my whole house from top to bottom and I feel great because of it BUT I have a HUGE pile of clean washing to fold and put away.
Makes me laugh how I can scrub the whole house yet a simple pile of washing is getting left and left and left lol
So yeah, know how that feels.

I’m obsessing over random stupid stuff and I can’t focus on my work. And I seem to be having a poor attitude about evereything lately.
Instead of working on my business or doing the house work, I am here. My kid has no clean clothes for school tomorrow.
