I have finally quit my job after 7 years of working with the most manipulating and controling people I have ever worked for.

Medical field. I have been in the medical field for many many years. I have been off for a month and I can’t seem to get the motivation to get a job any job for that matter. What the hell is wrong with me?

Maybe you’re just plain sick of it. Could be ’sabbatical’ time. ..Willy.

I know the feeling I left my job, at a vets after five years, my colleagues were bullies, arrogant insensitive, awful people, and it’s called a “caring” profession.

Thank you Willy, I feel guilty takeing this time for myself. Just talking to someone other than myself does help to get a different perspective. I feel cheated out on my last job I am one of those employees that is dilligent, honest blah, blah, blah. Working with the last group of people really took alot out of me and I do not want to get into that type of crap again. Now, that i have the time to do a little more research for a job I am questioning myself if I have what it takes to want to work at what I do anymore. I know I am good at it but then again maybe not.

AFAIK, we only have one life to live; why spend it being miserable? If a person is reasonably smart they can live on very little; many perceived ‘need’ are really just ‘wants’. Paring down costs can give you the ‘crashpad’ that will allow you to find out what you really want to do and what job (if any) would make you happiest. ..Willy.
