Hi nextweek,
I am terribly sorry I haven’t been more specific. I meant music scoring/composing. Anyways, thank you. Maybe, you could still help. Cheers.

Thanks for listenin”.

I am Zero in Indian music. I am from that part of India (extreme ease) where Hindi music is not very popular(I can’t even speak Hindi).
I have had some education in Western Classical Music. Sang with College Choir/chorale for 4 years. So, I like Classical music, or preferably Neo-classical, plus Rock music of the 80’s- my favorite band-Mr.Big.
Apart from some Theory I am not very familiar with artists or genres, etc., etc.,

Well, funny thing is I can’t trust myself writing text. English isn’t a first language to me, you see.
I do appreciate your help.

My best suggestion for you would be to write down notes about little fragments (even just a couple bars — like 10 or 15 secons

O.K. I got your point. Both in music and in Painting they say they express certain messages. And its true in both western and Indian classical music. They say they narrate a story. In Indian Classical music they say they tell the story about their gods and goddesses, their life and death, love, whatever.

Now, the funny thing is I don’t believe in any such things. I believe a music can express the basic emotions-joy, sorrow, confusion, urgency, etc, etc. I don’t believe they can tell a story. My take is the some on Paintings, too.

I have been unfortunate that I cannot read the story from music. And I am basically an honest man, so I can’t write about something I can’t see.

So, there goes the sad story. But, don’t give up. Yours is a very good idea. You can always find someone else.
