Okay, so it apparently sucks as a help.com question.

I was just thinkin’ about “worst case scenario” types of things after watching the movie and thought I’d throw one out there.

Never saw it. And getting off a ski-lift sucks with a snowboard attached to both feet. Especially when you’ve never been on one.

Are you talking about getting off where you are supposed to? It is hard to get off a lift when you are new at it :)

Okay Pep, here’s my reply: by never getting on the danged thing in the first place. LOL. Seriously, I am extremely squeamish about heights. BTW: nice seeing ya’ Pep!

Yeah, where you’re supposed to. I can be very uncoordinated. I love the snow, though. I only went once for about a week. That was over 10 years ago. Next time, I’ll still be new to everything. Darn.

Most people who try to get off ski lifts are uncoordinated. :)

BTW, that’s a horror movie, correct? I love them. I keep seeing it across the street at the video store, but I haven’t seen it yet. Any good?

Awww, geeze…This movie really IS good.
Hmm, I’m afraid to say anything about it…I don’t want to ruin it for anyone who wants to see it…:o|
The suspense is really a 10 out of a possible 10.
The story is frightening, to say the least.
Aw, now I don’t feel free to say anything here…
WATCH it!
I, too, an terrified of heights and HAVE been on a ski lift myself. Not fun riding with a person who loves to be the center of attention…yelling and screaming and shaking that lift…blahhhhhhhhh!!! So this movie hit home directly…
The ending is…surreal…wow…ick…the thought!!!
Maybe we can all compare notes after more people have watched….Hopefully! :)

hmmmm…how did I miss THAT?? Three people stranded on a ski lift…and NOBODY has a cell??? Or maybe there was no signal…I have to watch again…I believe that the girl had one, but left it at the ski lodge…duhhhhhh…Now I’m gonna have to watch it again…That’s ok…It really IS a good one…Cheesy as it sounds, it isn’t…
The ending is REALLY chilling…oh no not because of all the snow…just…ughhhhh.

LOL. Yeah, it was a good movie…kind of unrealistic, but still good. I’m still thinking about it a couple days later.

I just asked because after watching it, I think I could see lots of mistakes that the kids made and would have liked to talk about it and see what people thought.

I’ve been on a ski lift many, many times. For all of my child hood, I skiied every weekend; all of the breaks from school. As a young adult, I worked a couple nights a week at a ski resort to get the free pass and skiied 3-4 days a week for 10 years.

So….just thinking about getting off a lift, based on my experience. I think that you could use your skis/poles/coats/etc….I think that if you jump off a lift with ski boots on, your ankles will definitely break b/c of the lack of “give.”

Has anyone watched the movie “Frozen?” How do you think you would safely get off of a ski lift?
