Yesterday, I told my dad I wanted to live with my mom.

He told me no because he thinks she won’t take care of me…I was too afraid to say something else, so I just turned and walk away.. I am a 15 year old girl, that lives with 3 males in my household. I need my mom, and my dad won’t allow me to do anything. What should I do?

Go to your guidance counselour at school. They can help quite a lot more than you probably give them credit for.

I did, and they brought CPS over my house. How is that going to help me? Nothing, cause the CPS turned around and walked away. I told my mother about this, and she is going to court. But I doubt that will work either. I’m suppose to be allow to live with either my father or mother right?

Not until you’re I think it’s 16 they allow you to decide, check the laws in your area.

Then Tell your dad to go **** himself, pack up and move in with your mom. If it’s your decision, then do it.

do you have anyone else who you trust and could help you like an aunt, uncle or grandparent that lives in your area? even if they don’t live in the area could you still talk to someone. I know sometimes when CPS or the the court systems get involved it takes a really long time to see any results and I’m sure that is frustrating. Running away is not the best answer and may hurt your moms case. However the important thing to do is to keep communication open and I hope you can talk to you mom on a regular basis and even though you can’t live with her at the moment it’ll help you until your problem is resolved.

I know this isn’t a clear solution and you probably feel like your hands are tied but know that things will get better.

No, all of my relatives agree with my father. The only person I HAD was my best friend and her family. But recently, my father forbid me to hang out with them because they are “brainwashing” me.

I did that once, my father called the cops and brought me back home. I don’t know HOW the **** can he do this, but he can.
