Hi, has anyone heard of the ABC diet(ana boot camp)? I have written down everything that I need to about allowed foods, negative foods and some tips. But has anyone tried it. I think that I will be able to stick to it, I have started today, a 500 calorie day and tomorrow is another 500 calorie day. I have got a list of foods that I am allowing myself to eat and 2 dry shredded wheat pieces to snack on, 50 calories each. Anyone help me wih it?

FAD DIETS NEVER WORK. Here’s the best diet for you:
1. Go to the FDA website.
2. Print out the food pyramid.
3. Follow said food pyramid.
4. Excercise 5 times a week for at least 30 minutes.

THe above is the best way to lose weight. Your “diet” is dangerously unhealthy and could kill you before you get “thin”. Of course, with this attitude you’ll never get thin enough and will wind up dead of malnutrition. Look, accept your body the way it is, and work on improving it SAFELY.
Then you have a problem. You see men do not want thin, bony women, they love curves, and volumptuousness. Only women feel they have to be so skinny, but for what and for whom? Ask yourself this, who are you doing it for? Eat healthily but properly, be fit but not obsessive and acttually enjoy your life! I know this is not the answer you want, you want me to tell you how to look like a skeleton, but that ain’t gonna happen. That way only leads to the grave, and we all end up there eventually. Delay that as much as you can! And enjoy the time you have here. :)

as soon as you stop this diet-which you will have to, as it is not sustainable-you will start regaining weight immediately, at an increased rate as your body has gone into starvation mode.
you will more than likely end up weighing more than before you started.
aim to lose .5-1 kg per week, eat around 1200 calories of protein based foods, cut down the carbs, and you will lose weight. and keep it off.
Actually hun, when you do ABC, teh amount of calories shifting so radically every day is said to make your metabolism faster, right? Thats bullsh*t , trust me. It makes you a lot more prone to binging, and make your metabolism lower really.. You will be more likely to hold onto the weight when you eat more. In the end, you’ll end up nowhere.
The truth is , a starvation diet leads to uncontrollable binging.. That’s when your brain takes control over your body, and you have no idea how or why or when but you eat crazy amounts. You think you can control it? You won’t. All anorexics I’ve talked to have gone through this.
Like said. It’s much better to lose a steady amount of 0.5 kg/week (even thoguh taht seems liek so little now) for a couple of months than to lose 4 kg then gain it back then lose 5 and repeat and end up a year later with a very serious damage done to yoru body and the same weight anyways. Radical is never good.
I’ve done it it works. I lost 20 lbs. :) Just make sure you don’t stree your body with too much excersize. Basically no more than 15 minutes of cardio a day. But it’s not unhealthy but just remember to ween yourself off of it by eating like 700 cals in fruit and veggies or drinks then slowly move to solids don’t just binge the second u get off of it.
