What do you mean with this question?
Do you look for the meaning of the term “pilot survey”? Then the answer is: It’s a preliminary study on a scientific topic, to be made before the main study will start – just to check if the survey methods work in the expected way.

No sorry, the point is just, that pilot surveys are not published at all.

But a pilot survey (or pilot study) has more or less the SAME design as the final survey will have. But some adjustments could be made on the final survey, according to the results of the pilot survey.

What is your concrete problem with this? Why do you ask?

As I am preparing my BBA - 2nd Semester Assignment in Quantitative Techniques in Management. There is a question which is reads as “Discuss “Pilot Survey is a small trial survey (survey of few units)undertaken before the main survey is conducted - Discuss”. For this question there is 6 marks allocated and I looking for some good information on the same. Could it be possible for you to help me out?
