Ohio or San Francisco?

I have never been to America and I would like to go on a long holiday to either Ohio or San Francisco. I would like to know a bit more about both if possible. Thanks!

San Fransisco is famous for trolley cars and scenic hills and lots of money and homosexuals, Ohio is famous for just about nothing. Why would you go to Ohio? What city in Ohio? Cleveland?

San Francisco!! It’s so pretty and the weather is great! Ohio is so blah and boring!

Isn’t Ohio just one big farm? Why the heck would you wanna go there?

San Francisco— easy to get around without a car. Plenty of sight seeing and great food! If you can rent a car, drive up to Sonoma/ wine country or drive south taking Highway 1 or 101 to Half Moon Bay or Pacifica—-the scenery is spectacular.
