Will I be able to dye my hair with semi-permanent dye after having bleached my hair.

I was considering going for a very light brown just to cover the ginger which is left in my hair. My hair was black before but because i had been black before and didn’t like it i wanted rid, especially as the brown dye i used was too dark and turned my hair black again. So i bleached my hair, had it cut and have left it about 3 days now. I have been using conditioner, or rather a hair protection conditioner and everytime i have washed my hair i have used silver shampoo to lighten the ginger a little, my normal shampoo and also my conditioner. My hair is feeling quite healthy since, i had all the dead ends and damaged bits cut off, but will a semi - permanent dye or an 8 week wash out one be okay to use? leave in mind that i have bleached my hair from black before last year sometime, to be able to turn my hair red. anyone think it will still be okay? please help? (:

It will probably be fine. Be careful of your color choice though. Sometimes certain colors will turn your hair orange or pink after it has been bleached. (Its true. I’ve seen it happen. lol)

Oh you should be alright with that. Usually hair only falls out because of coloring if you do it way too often or you leave the bleach on for way too long.

Have fun!

I do dye my hair often, but yeah i hardly left the bleach on for half an hour because it was reacting to my scalp, so my hair is a mixture of tones really, ginger, light blonde, (my natural colour) little bits of brown, bit of black still. xD (:
