If you forget your mistakes, you will never learn from them.

If you want to look like a total moron in front of your friends, go ahead. But I would strongly suggest not drinking.

Thinking that taking more of the poison is the cure is why no one ever gets out of the mess they got themselves into.

And trust me, if you do manage to drink enough to forget one stupid thing, many people and even your friends would be sure to remind you of that thing and many other stupid things you did afterwards. Man up and take responsibility. You’re human and you are expected to do tons of stupid things throughout your life. What matters is whether or not you’re able to dig yourself out of the ditch or at least have the guts to live with it. It’s pathetic if you just give up and wallow in self pity. I know you can do better than that. :)

No. It will make you do more stupid things. You need to stop drinking so much or all together.

one would think yes, reality would say no.
logic would predict you will only do more stupid things while drunk, meaning you would have to drink more and more, meaning you will do more and more stupid things and the laws of probability state that someone else is likely to be involved in those stupid acts sooner or later, whether that be when you run them over while driving drunk, punch them out for no reason, or drag them into doing something you never would have done sober.
