Congrats on your baby girl. It sounds like she is over the age of 18, and I am pretty good at finding people. I have quite a bit of experience in this as my father was a private investigator and I worked for him for awhile helping him locate peopl. With a little more information, I may be able to help you out. Information that would help would be her date and city of birth, possible alias (such as her grandmother’s last name). Her last known location and the date that it was last confirmed would also help. Her father’s name, and so forth. Has her father gotten clean? The only reason I ask this is because if she is able to be found by you, then she is able to be found by her father and this may not be the best thing for her.
On a side note, you stated that you have been clean for 14 years. I have some experience with the pattern of addiction and am just curious, do you attend meetings? Do you have continuing therapy? I’m not trying to make this about you, it’s just that I’m curious if you are serious enough about keeping yourself clean to be a decent influence on her.

It’s a longshot, but I found some info that may help. Is she catholic? I did find someone (using the information given earlier) who is pursuing an education at a catholic school.
Also, if I find her, keep in mind that neither I nor you will be allowed to contact her legally without first contacting her legal guardian.

ok to answer you about my status well 14 years ago i did 18 months of treatment at an residential treatment facility, i then spent the next 7 years in AA &NA also many other , life skills etc.. I moved away to abilene , and no i have not been to a meeting in years i rely on church family , my husbands wonderful family to keep me focused, but my alcoholic/addict mother and sister really help me stay sober they could be a public service announcement for DONT DO DRUGS lol , by the way i have not seen my ex in years he was last known to be living with them and i doubt he changed thats why i left him behind

i have found a lot but i am down to an unlisted phone number and unlisted address and i am pretty sure there in appomattox, i am looking early cause i was going to get in touch with the grandmother and try to talk reasonably with her now understand this lady has been treated for a psyciatric (sp?) disorder in the past so i am unaware of how i will be accepted , this lady and i had alot of problems in the past, hopefully we can leave it in the past

If you just myspace search her name it will come up with all the people on myspace called Tiffany Chaney,and you can flick through and see if someone matches you girl!
Dont worry about talking to the grandmother, your daughter is old enough to make her own decisions about speaking with you or not. The grandmother obviously doesnt want you to have any contact wth your daughter so take one step in front of her. Try not to put any pressure on your daughter as this might scare her away. Yep sure,well i just went to search on myspace and typed in Tiffany Chaney and it came up with 3 different pages of people. If you know the last or current school she’s at i could search her through that because thats probably a better search. Theres other networking websites such as: bebo.com,Friendster,hi5,facebook. Theres tons of them so i’d have to have a look around for ya.
